6 February 2014, Press Release
The Swiss business magazine “Bilan” has voted the Basel-based app specialist “Terria Mobile” as one of the 50 most promising Swiss start-ups. A jury of recognized entrepreneurs has selected the 50 start-ups that show the best perspectives for investors.
“We are delighted about this recognition”, says Robin Wirz, CEO of Terria Mobile. “It shows that we have been able to prove ourselves and our technology in the market over the last few years. In 2013 we continued to win new and exciting customers, such as the Mexican Congress, who now also uses our LaunchBase app management system.”
Since its early phase, the company has been self-financed. “Now we are entering the next growth phase and are expanding our international activities. We therefore also increasingly speak to investors to push our growth” says Wirz, very convinced about the great perspectives of the company.
Terria Mobile has already received various awards for being an innovative and successful start-up. In 2013, the company was one of the 6 winners of the “Swisscom Start-Up Challenge” and made the “Swiss National Start-Up Team”. In 2012, Terria Mobile were finalists at the Red Herring Top 100 Europe Awards and at the Swiss ICT Award.
